Actor Arvind Swamy has reportedly been roped in to play the villain opposite Mega Power Star Ram Charan in the Telugu remake of "Thani Oruvan", and has been paid a record remuneration. Surender Reddy, who has directed movies like "Kick" and "Race Gurram", is working on the Telugu remake of "Thani Oruvan". Initially, he considered roping in Madhavan and Nara Rohit as the film's antagonist. But he finally roped in Arvind Swamy for it as he thinks he is perfect for it.
